
Founder and artistic director of L'Appassionata, Tommaso Benciolini is among the most active Italian flautists on the international scene. Winner of the 2017 New York Respighi Prize, he made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2018.
He has performed as a soloist in halls such as Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Vienna Musikverein, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Tonhalle in Zurich and the Salzburg Mozarteum. He teaches flute at the Bonporti Conservatory in Trento.
On 17 June he is a soloist at Mozart Evenings together with harpist Mirjam Schröder.
